The social economy includes different legal entities, such as cooperatives and foundations, that share the same objective of prioritising people, social and environmental causes over profit.   
 
They face difficulties developing and scaling up their activities because they are not sufficiently understood and recognised. 
 
We are proposing recommendations to help create an environment for the social economy to thrive.   
 
We are also launching a one-stop-shop website to provide social economy entities with information on EU funding, training opportunities, events, resources and more.
