Health data to share is a new digital health service that is incorporated into La Meva Salut that allows people to download their clinical information, moving towards control of their health data: immediate access, easy, free and in electronic format, structured and reusable.

The  Blue Button is  an initiative that was born in the United States in 2010 as a digital solution so that war veterans could access and have their medical records wherever they needed them.

The Catalan public health system incorporates this functionality into La Meva Salut following the standards established by the European Union (the EU Patient Summary ) in line with the implementation guides certified by the Integrating Healthcare Enterprise (IHE).

This initiative is aligned with the General Data Protection Regulation (RGPD) and tends towards what is established in the European Health Data Space (EHDS).
